Character Background
Mannerisms
Rika might not blend in as much as she'd like, but she's very soft-spoken and most of the time, shy. She is very aware of her surroundings, having been on the run for years, and because of this, she is very good in combat. however, she doesn't like killing, and mourns those she kills, but will not hesitate to kill if she needs to for any reason. She's too easily trusting, and as such, doesn't like lying, though she knows there are times when all one can do is lie.
Background
Disowned heir to the most famous thieving clan in the sector, she dishonored her family by learning to study spellcraft. She was forced from her home yet she is still the heir to her clan, having broken no clan rules, just a moral one. So when her father dies, she will be required to become the head of the family. Her younger brother, jealous that an exile is still further in line of succession than him, sends assassins, including clan members, after her on a regular basis. While traveling, learning spells, she met a spellthief who taught her to hone both her spells and thieving prowess at the same time. He became her mentor, eventually surpassing him in skill. He was killed by city guards. She kept his gloves as a memento.
